Position: Concept Designer

Company Description:

We are a small, hands-on studio that designs and produces work across sculpture, furniture, and fashion. We develop our own in-house projects as well as provide creative solutions for globally-renowned clients.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Gustavo Barroso on in-house and client projects, supporting the ideation process.

Work independently to create visual storytelling for products, spaces, and experiences.

Generate creative design concepts in response to client briefs and internal projects.

Develop detailed sketches, illustrations and pitch decks to effectively communicate design ideas.

Create compelling mood boards to support concept presentations.

Utilize Photoshop and other design software to refine visuals and create presentation materials.

Collaborate with other designers and stakeholders to ensure concepts meet creative and strategic objectives.

Provide multiple design solutions and be able to justify design choices.

Key Qualifications:

Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign +)

Strong sketching, and visual communication skills.

Excellent ability to create mood boards and visual narratives.

Capability to generate a high volume of ideas quickly and efficiently.

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

Be able to think about non-traditional solutions that are unexpected and captivating.

Have a strong understanding of what is currently relevant on the internet, music, fashion and American culture

Bonus Points (not required)

Proficiency in CAD software (Fusion 360, Blender, or others)

Understanding of various AI generative workflows (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Dall-E and others)
